Among the largest aquariums in the world, it sees inside the presence of a species of dolphin, the Bottlenose Dolphin, housed in the Cetacean Pavilion. Numerous studies have been conducted on these animals which have made it possible to broaden their knowledge.
The collaboration was born with the advent of the Delfini Metropolitani project, which aims to study the presence, habits and interactions with humans of coastal cetaceans, with particular attention to the Bottlenose Dolphin. The graduating students we host on board therefore lend an “eye of respect” for this species.
The various data collected on board and shared with the scientific managers of the Aquarium are transferred to the online Intercet platform and can be used by various entities from here.
